I could just eat this stitching up!

I am sooooo excited about the way the paintings look in cross stitch! I cannot believe how Much more depth they have with the third dimension of the stitching! This piece is the Geranium painting- the stitcher has almost reached the flowers!

I have a really good feeling about this!

Lovely

I am deep in design world right now, trying to create the feeling that I want my new cross stitch line to convey. Latest thoughts- simple, calming, lovely.

The dandelion image above works for me in all three of those categories- what about you?

I have a bit of the salt pattern stitched too- enjoy!

Elephant Inspiration

I am so in love with elephants- they speak to me. I have found some magnificent shots of elephants in a festival from Bing and had to share. Inspiration comes from everywhere!

Jaipur Elephant Festival- so wonderful! I love the last shot with the golden room on top! And the second picture with their tusks so adorned!

Ginkgo Leaves

This is a shot I took last autumn while taking a walk in my little neighborhood. Ginkgo trees are very funny- one day they are fully leafy, and the next they are totally naked! They drop all of their leaves in a day or two. This, of course, makes for a magnificent yellow blanket on the sidewalk!
