Here is my latest obsession- french knots!  I am painting with french knots.  I have done this before- and really love it, but it got lost in the shuffle when I started painting more- here's a peak at the look I am achieving!

Another thunderstorm just rolled into town- so wonderful! I love the sound of the rain, the thunder, and the way the air cools- perfectly relaxing.

Here is another watercolor for consideration- maybe a cross stitch chart?

Today was a studio day- finally!  I painted the floor (it was really satisfying!) and am getting geared up to start a new series of paintings!  If you havent already done so, please come to my new blog and subscribe.  I am hoping to phase out this one and phase in the new one soon and don't want to lose any of you!

Wool and Hoop Crewel project

OK- I promise I am not starting a new business again!  I am, however, quite excited about my crewel project!  I met the woman who started Wool and Hoop (www.woolandhoop.com) at the TNNA show last month and am now hooked on this technique- quick, easy, and lovely results- don't you think?

Snowdrops are some of my favorite flowers.  They appear when you need them most- popping up through the snow- marvelous.
