This is a slightly more abstract rendering of the beautiful oranges with leaves that I have been painting.

Cambridge Neighborhood

This is a very small diptych- the inspiration to do it as a diptych came to me after seeing a friend's painting. Check out his website- http://www.spgoodman.com/
I once had a teacher who wondered why you would do a diptych, and not just a single canvas. In this case, I feel like it is joining neighbors together- each canvas primarily containing a single house. I also, however, like the joining of parts that you accomplish with two instead of one.

Radcliffe College Columns

I am working on a new large painting, and am posting the progress. I have done a smaller graphite on mylar painting with this same image, so it may be familiar.

RISD Alumni Holiday sale

The holiday sale was a success in many ways. I sold paintings and I got to meet many interesting people- artists and shoppers. It is a very high quality sale and worth a visit if you have never come before. I am posting pictures of my table and my friend, who had a table right next to mine, Yuh's table. Yuh makes beautiful silk and wool scarves- such a treat for the eyes!

I am moving into my new studio in Somerville this weekend- lots of exciting stuff.
